In 1956 Jan Kipping and his family left The Hague to take over the existing campsite from the family Flier.
The campingsite was then a forest with several little houses, a canteen and a little farm at the front as the reception.
Water from the pump, separate boys and girls camps and suitcases in the luggage office.
The tent or caravan was placed where there was space. In winter, caravans could be placed in the canteen and guests came
by personally to pay the camping fee.
After the death of Jan Kipping, his son John continued the campingsite with his sister Tineke and their two families.(second generation)
At the moment the third generation Stefan and Heidi are already running the campsite.
At our campsite there is plenty of space for nature and that is why all our pitches are unique.
From branch rails and insect hotels to bird houses and bee pastures.
We do everything we can to keep our campsite as natural as possible.
Of course we try to combat and prevent certain inconveniences of nature as naturally as possible.
We are a small family business and we believe that camping should remain "normal".
